This is 3 coats of Lime Crime Peaches and Cream stamped with Sinful Colors Summer Peach using the Jumbo Knock Off of Konad Plate Row M69

I could not get the camera to pick up the true colors of these polishes to save my life. Peaches and Cream is a bright orangey-peach color pastel and Summer Peach is almost a neon version of orangey-peach.

Lyn B Designs- Ragtime Roses and Poisoned Soup

This is basically a swatcher post because I was feeling lazy at Christmas time  I wore this Chrismas Eve.

I used 3 thin coats of LynBDesigns Poisoned Soup on most of my nails and 2 coats of Ragtime Roses layered over 1 coat of Spoiled Pick Your Poison.  To be honest I think Rag time Roses would have gone opaque on its own but I didn't want to risk it. I was planning to stamp over it but I ran out of time. :)

Lyn B Designs like Jindie nails is one of the few indie companies whose glitter polish I love because it always spreads evenly and you never need to fish.  I am also happy to see they are making more non glitter polishes because they do great work. Not that I have tried all the indies out there, so many to try so little time. :)

Def Defying Bahamian Escape

This is a sponge gradient with China Glaze Def Defying and Bahamian Escape.
I used 2 coats of China Glaze Def Defying and let it dry.  I used a make up sponge cut in half to sponge on Bahamian Escape.

Def Defying, Bahamian Escape

Gradient from Cuticle down except on ring which is from tip.
See how the ring finger looks Plain Almost

I actually took lot of pics but in most of them, you couldn't see the gradient. I had a super hard time getting the gradient to show on camera, which is odd because it was really clear in person.

Owl Nail

I actually did this for a challenge by Chit Chat nails for skittle nails but I didn't like it enough to submit.

All my nails Except my thumb and pinky had a base of 2 coats China Glaze Sidney Sand the nail art was done with Julep Scarlett Color Club Ho Ho Holly and Stripe right Gold. My thumb and Pinky have 3 coats of Ho Ho Holly. The stamp on my thumb is Essie Good as Gold with BM-309

This hand was same as right but I smudged it and I couldn't be bothered to redo
So it is 2 coats of Scarlett on my pointer.

Roses and Hearts

I have to say, I just really loved this, I did not want to take it off and wore it for several days.
Base is 3 coats of Revlon Runway Pearl. It is a pearly white with a pink iridescent shimmer, it isn't something I'd normally buy. However, it was on clearance for like a buck so I got it and am so glad I did. I could have done with 2 coats probably but I smudged. I used  Kleancolor Metallic Red  and the Apiplia Mix plate to stamp. I don't care what people say about KleanColor I love them, I don't really think they smell as bad as people say either. Even if they did I'd still use them because they'd still be awesome.  I used detail brush to free hand the french tip and topped with Seche Vite.

If you look at the bottle you can see the shimmer
Its much better IRL

Tissue Paper Nails

I had some tissue paper I was wrapping up some gifts with and I was like hmmm this could look cool.  So being the enterprising soul I am I thought I'll cut it to nail size and stick it on my nails. (While for few minutes, I thought I was first genius to think of doing this I assure you it isn't so) Any hoo.

I put on coat of base coat stuck on the cut tissue paper then went over it again with more top coat I then trimmed the excess off the end. It worked fairly well and I must say was less annoying than some of the stick on polishes.

The other nails are Enkelini The Grass is greener and the pinky is Del Sol Candy Cane. They were stamped with Konad Red and White and MyOnlineShop Apple Green stamping polish.  I forgot to note the plates I used.

Water Marbling Fail and Win-ish

I have tried water marbling desperately and on several occasions with different vessels and different water at different temperatures. Mostly I have failed unequivocally, not oh it didn't look good I mean, not able to  even get to the point in which marbling would happen. Today though the marbling fairies the sort of smiled upon me and then gave unladylike snorts of fairie laughter.

As base I used Cherimoya Blockbuster and for marbling I used China Glaze Velvet Bow and Holly-Day Behold the results

This thumb is my First Attempt the ring is my Third

This Thumb is my Second Attempt and the ring my Fourth

So over all the marbling came out lovely on one hand and a horrid hot mess on the other not bad at all I will try again in the future :). After all practice makes better because who are we kidding about perfect.

Holly Nails

I loosely followed Cute Polish's Easy Holly Nails tutorial to do this mani.

To do the french tip I used 2 coats of Nailene Skinny French Tip Pen (I like Sally Hansen's pen better this one is too watery). Then covered it with 2 coats of Sally Hansen Hard-ly There-150 its a very sheer shimmery peachy pink color, it works great for a shimmery french or to hide imperfections in your nails while still letting your nail show a bit.
To make the holly berries I used Dare to Wear Cherry Cosmo and a small dotting tool. I used a detail brush and KleanColor Green Grass-109 to make the leaves. I did the leaves little different than the tutorial. Mostly because my brushes are complete and utter shite, but also because I like the look of these better. Its basically a slightly wonky diamond shape. I used the smallest dotting tool I had to alternate the red and the green at the tips.

Left Hand
Cherry Cosmo, Hard-ly There, Grass Green

Right Hand

Sorry, it appears in my excitement I forgot to clean up around the cuticles. I did it later but by time I checked pics I had already done a new mani so couldn't get clean pics. I really liked this I wore it for a few days actually, it looked great. I did make a few mistakes with the dots but I am sure my dexterity will improve with some practice.

Butterfly Wings

This is 3 coats of Color Club Cherubic stamped with Wet N Wild Black Creme using Apiplia 03,  I used dotting tool to add spots with Essie No Place Like Chrome and topped it with Piper Polish Spectra flair topcoat. Sorry, I was so excited when I finished that the first shot was taken without cleaning then I noticed and took another shot of my Left hand after I cleaned up a bit.

It looks so pretty, I received a lot of compliments. I wish I had done the dots a bit different. I also smudged Cherubic a few times before stamping dang my lack of patience for drying times. I like that the SpectraFlair made everything slightly holographic. So it did almost look kind of like the dust on butterfly wings.

ציפורני חנוכה שמחות-Happy Channukah Nails

 Happy Last day of Channukah

This is mostly one coat of China Glaze First Mate (except on the nails I kept messing up) the art is done with  Stripe Rite Gold Metallic and the "flames" are small yellow sequins. Topped with Seche Vite.

I have been studying Hebrew for 2 years now, I am no genius. This isn't my best work but it turned out ok. I had done a trial before all my nails snapped off so it didn't work as planned.  My largest nail is right now about 1 cm by 1 cm so fairly tiny I had planned to put the menorah on my ring finger and the חנוכה שמח on my thumb, but with loss of length I couldn't get the menorah to fit :( and the text wouldn't fit on just one finger.  Well not with my limited brush skills heh. Enough excuses on to the pics, cuticles are in same horrid condition as always.

Christmas Tree

I have been planning this Mani since I before I finally caved and bought Nails Inc Piccadilly Arcade, I just hate to pay so much for a major brand I'd rather through my money to the indie folks.

This is first taping manicure I have planned that turned out exactly like I wanted, I learned my lesson and used painters tape this time. I started with 2 coats of PiperPolish Blue My Mind then added some Seche Vite, because I have no patience and I hate waiting. Once that was dry, I used painters tape to make the shape of the triangle on my thumb and ring finger. I used Piccadilly Arcade and PiperPolish Glitter not Litter for the trees and ornaments.
I did  a really quick 1 coat of Piccadilly Arcade, 1 coat of Glitter not Litter and then another really thin coat of Piccadilly Arcade. I peeled off the tape right away before the polishes dried. I then added the star shape stones I got from ebay and covered with 2 coats of Seche Vite.

I'm really super proud of this manicure I love the way it turned out. It was simple but looked great. I was really surprised that the stones didn't bother me more usually they drive me bonkers, but I guess because it was so near my cuticle the height difference didn't bother me as much.

Tangled Lights

I thought this would be sort of a cute thing to do and use some of the new polishes I was sent by my nail pal.
I started off with 3 coats of CQ Ivory-563 on all my nails except on my ring finger I did 2 coats of the Ivory and 1 coat of Santee Magnetic Sand Burst-21.
I had planned to do something different, but I can not seem to get magnetic polishes to play nice with me.

I used Stripe Rite Green to make the tree and the cord for the lights. And to make the bulbs and the ornaments on the trees. I used Color Club Fly With Me (light green), Color Club Velvet Rope(red) and LA Girl Blue Berry Fizz (Blue).  To make the bulbs I took the medium large dotting tool and the smallest dotting tool. I put large dot down then used the small tool to drag the dots to a point. I topped it all off with Seche Vite.

I am mostly happy with this I wish the free hand trees had turned out better but I really do love the way the lights turned out.

Sation Spats

I had seen something similar to this somewhere if I find the link I'll add if you know where please add link in comments . To me this looks sort of like spats for shoes.

I used  2 coats of Sation Miss Emo Shun All (MESA), then I used a White striper,  once dry added 2 coats of Sation Love At First Lavender over top of the white. I used dotting tool and MESA to add the dots and topped it all off with Seche Vite.

I really quite liked this, I think it could be better with a bit of practice. I think it would be much easier had I used a light color then added a dark one. Over all I think it looked fairly decent.

Its All Over Now with a bit of Spacing Out

This is sort of a lazy day post just basic swatching I was planning to stamp but I never got round to it, Tough as Nails Lacquer  2 coats of  Its All Over Now with accent of Spacing Out.  I think Spacing Out would really make a great base for galaxy nails it really does look like a starry sky. They both spread really well quite even.Topped with Seche Vite.
