Gangnam Style Lattice work

This is 3 coats of Revlon Gumdrops  Stamped with Cherimoya Retro Blue, I do  not recall the plate.

I think this is supposed to be a Pokemon doing the Gangnam Style Dance but I am not sure because I was not a kid during the Pokemon days so I do not know much about them. I will admit I do love the Gangnam style song/video it was cute. I liked this lattice work type design I'll probably try it out again and pay more attention to stamping placement.

Double Stamp Fail

This is 3 coats of Opi My Boyfriend Scales Walls I stamped with Color club Age of Aquarius and Chelsea Girl for the back ground image I was tryign to get sort of a gradient effect, needless to say it didnt work. I tried to fix this by stamping kitties with Cherimoya Retro Blue using Lilic A02 for an accent. This did not improve things.

Caring Bear Sees Stars

Another fail Lets get started shall we!
This is 3 coats of Lush Lacquer Color Me Gray stamped with Cherimoya Light Red, I do not recall the plate.

I loved this polish in the bottle well enough, but it didn't do much for me on the nail . The Stamping is botched again, not the stamp just bad execution. I do love this little bear handing out a bouquet of flowers will have to do justice by him one day.

Blue Bow and Dots Fail

This is Picture Polish Sky stamped with Dashica blue stamping polish, I do not recall the plate number.

I did not care for this, it is a fail in so many ways but mostly crappy stamping and placement no fault of the stamp all me :( . my next few posts will be fails so get ready for the fail onslaught.

So Close but Wrong Base

I had to try this again this time the stones matched but, I wish I had chosen a different base for this I think these 2 colors do not compliment as much as I had hoped.
This is 3 coats of Orly Shine. I then taped off sections of my nails with french nail strips and then added Amy's Nail Boutique Trendsetter and topped off with stones from ebay and a coat of Poshe.

I wish this had turned out a bit better and I will definitely give it another go in the future the stones are almost a perfect match. I also hate that I couldn't pick up the holo effect from trendsetter.  Amy's Nail Boutique makes some beautiful jewel tone holographic polishes they are beautifully packaged, my only complaint would be that they are a bit shear so Ideally you should layer over a similar color or maybe white to get it very opaque.  As usual I bought this polish and I wasn't compensated in any way.

Rococo Grandeur Hearts and Stars

This is 2 coats of Hare Polish Rococo Grandeur stamped with Cherimoya Light Red, I do not remember the stamp.

So Shiny

I took this idea from Rainbow Creativity's Post. I loved how it looked.

I used 3 coats of Jade Supernova, added striping tape and 1 coat of Kleancolor metallic Red, pulled off the tape and added some stones from ebay and topped with Poshe. Unfortunately my stones didnt match I should have used metallic pink instead because I don't have stones this deep of a red :'(

Look at this Shinyness Supernova is gorgeous and I don't even like yellow.

This was so pretty I so wish the stones would have matched. Also Super nova is a bitch to get off your cuticles so try not to get any on your cuticles.

Blue Owl

My sister loves owls and she loves the color blue so I decided to do some nails for her :).
This is 2 coats of Golden a Rose Matte Velvet 101 and 103(Accent), these are really one coaters I just had to see if another coat would make a difference. They aren't really matte they are sort of a suede with lots of shimmer and in between matte and shine. I stamped with Konad pastel blue I don't recall the plate I used, I know shame on me I should really write these things down.  The next day I got in Lalya Ocean Rush from a swap and decided to shine up my non accent nails with a bit of holographic, 2 coats over the existing 101.

I really liked how the stamp came out the placement could be better but the stamping itself was really good. I wasn't impressed with Layla in the bottle but on the nails it is beautiful.

Get Me a Hayride and an Expresso

This is 2 coats of Contrary polish Hayride, it is so so pretty the bronze shimmer didn't show up in the pictures but it is a gorgeous neutral polish and the formula is fantastic. I stamped using KleanColor Expresso using a knock off of Konad s5.

The stamps turned out really well unfortunate I used metallic to stamp and because of the glare you cant see the designs. The ring finger is a star badge with Texas in the middle and the thumb is a a sign that says western cowboy. I loved this stamp and it was more visible in person, which is odd because for me usually it is opposite for me.

Pick your portal

I got this lacquer from Vivid Laquer as soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it, I have some friends that are crazy for Portal so I did some nail art based on it.
I started with 3 coats of China glaze Snow and I added 2 coats of Vivid Lacquer Pick your Portal to all nails but my ring fingers and thumbs. For those I used Santee Neon Aqua and Neon Orange to free hand some Images from the Portal game posters. I did take some liberties with the design on my thumb but I wanted it to match my portal figures.

Overall I am pretty happy with how this turned out. I am not terribly good at freehand work but I liked this effort. I do wish I could find a bright orange that was a bit more opaque. I tried 2 other oranges before I decided to go with the Santee. As a result I had to go over the design several times so the orange side turned out less crisp I guess than the blue. I wish there were a stamp for Portal I'd buy it :)

Birthday Girl

This is a look I did for my friend Misty's birthday, Misty is such an awesome person and such a great friend. She is so upbeat and has a good heart, so I knew that nothing but neon would do!
To start out I used 3 coats of Hungry Asian cookies and creme. There is by far more cream than cookies here. I used a variety of stamps for this look and stamped with serveral colors SO I'll give the polish first then the plate names. Nabi Blue and Bright Green, Cherimoya Retro Blue and Neon Pink and Mash Black. The Streamers on the ring finger and thumb and the round ballons on my left hand middle finger are from Messy Mansion plate MM02, the Party Girl (both hands) and streamers on my ring finger of right hand are Dash16. All other designs are from Fun 2 plate.

I really love the way the girl design turned out on the right hand pinky. I used multiple colors of polish on one stamp which I have done with hit and miss results.  I do like how this turned out.

Tickled Pink - No Not Really

This is 3 coats of Hungry Asian Tickled pink stamped with Kleancolor Metallic Aqua usimg Messy Mansion plate MM06 for the stripes and Fun 2 for the encircled star design. I added the french tip freehand with detail brush.

I can't actually say I was tickled pink over all I was just feeling meh about it. I really like the swatches of this but I didn't care for it on me. As for the stamping let's just pretend that never happened.

Seeing Green in a Different Dimension

This is 2 coats of CQ pistachio with 2 coats Different Dimension Money layered on top.
I used KleanColor Beach Blue to stamp some pretty flowers over it for a simple manicure.
I do not recall the stap because I have been lazy about noting them down, If i run across it I'll add it

To be honest I wasn't sure if this polish from Different Dimension would work for me. Nail polish with larger glitters do not generally work well on shorter nails with out dabbing and such and I do not do dabbing. However this distributed well and I didn't have to fish for the bigger glitters either.
As for the stamping I think it was a mistake I really didn't care for it much.
